Corporate Social Responsibility

The Ghosh Family has always believed in giving back to the society as a mark of their gratitude. The business has carried forward the same values through its legacy since the pre-independence era. Two charitable trusts were established by the family, namely A.Tosh Charitable Trust and Chamatkarini Devi Trust, in the name of our founder, Ashutosh Ghosh and his wife. For decades, the trusts mainly focused on the areas of education, healthcare and direct donations to different welfare organisations.

The late Prafulla Kumar Ghosh, son of Ashutosh Ghosh, made a significant contribution by founding Jagacha High School in 1949, a higher secondary school near Santragachi, the ancestral place of the Ghosh Family. Bhabatosh Ghosh remained the Chairman of the Board that controlled the affairs of the school. Later the family donated an additional large tract of land to the school for a playground.

At present, the company has initiated its plan to establish a charitable rural health care programme aimed at the villages on the outskirts of Coimbatore City, where the campus is located, thereby helping the local community.

The business and the family are always open for any opportunity to help build a better society. Interested organizations and NGOs can feel free to write to us at
