Sustainability

Having benefitted from the wonder of nature - Camellia Sinensis, it is only fitting for us to give our dues to Mother Earth. For ensuring sustainability and our commitment to nature, we have implemented a series of initiatives in our practices and properties.

Our 12-acre campus has a green cover of more than seventy percent. Our commitment of giving back to nature includes a coconut grove, a mango orchard, flowering, fruit and other shade trees totaling over 3,000. The carbon-negative campus invites a wide variety of fauna.

Miyawaki Forest

We have recently planted a Miyawaki forest on 2 acres of land in our facility. The adoption of the Miyawaki Forest of Japanese origin in our lands is another step in our green programme. This special method allows the saplings to grow 10 times faster and results in a 30 times denser foliage. The result in just 8 months has been a pleasant surprise and has alleviated the carbon sink at our facilities considerably.

Water Conservation

Our campus takes pride in harvesting and collecting rainwater which is stored in an underground tank capable of holding 2,50,000 litres of water that is also used as a source of irrigation.
